The Lady of Shalott returns, this time in pictorial form. Join us for another meeting on Friday, 28 November, at 10:00 in room 2.46 to discuss various painters' adaptations of the poem (and let's not forget about Julia Margaret Cameron''s photo, see below).

Go medieval with us next Tuesday! Join us for a trip to the medieval town of Łęczyca on 23 September. We'll be leaving on an ŁKA train (10:54 from Łódź-Widzew, 11:20 from Łódź-Kaliska) and returning on an ŁKA train leaving Łęczyca at 17:21. Venture into the seat of Boruta the Devil with our fellowship!

Everybody's welcome to join this year's meeting in the "Yeats in the Forest" series. We'll be leaving for Grotniki on 07.09 (train departs from Łódź Widzew at 12:31, from Łódź Kaliska at 13:01) for a talk with this universe's foremost expert on W. B. Yeats, Professor Wit Pietrzak.

Everybody's welcome to join the meeting of Geoffrey Chaucer Student Society on Wednesday 28 May at 1:30pm in room 2.20 (Faculty of Philology, University of Lodz). The meeting with dr Piotr Spyra will address the witches in William Shakespeare's play Macbeth.
