23 kwietnia 2026 r. w Akademii Supraskiej (Akademia Supraska) przedstawiciele Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego mieli zaszczyt i przyjemność wręczyć Profesorowi Aleksandrowi Naumowowi (Aleksander Naumow) dyplom potwierdzający przyznanie honorowego członkostwa w Centrum Ceraneum!

Podpisane przez Rektora UŁ powołanie prof. dr. hab. Aleksandra Naumowa w poczet członków honorowych naszego Centrum jest wyrazem uznania trwałego wkładu Profesora w rozwój badań nad Cyrylo-Metodejskim dziedzictwem, wzbogacanie i szerzenie wiedzy o kulturze prawosławnej i piśmiennictwie Słowian oraz ich wpływie na kulturę Rzeczypospolitej, dowodem najwyższego szacunku dla dorobku naukowego i autorytetu akademickiego Profesora Naumowa oraz podziękowaniem za inicjowanie, kształtowanie i umacnianie wieloletniej współpracy pomiędzy wieloma pokoleniami slawistów z Polski i innych krajów, w tym z badaczami z Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego.

Uroczyste wręczenie dyplomu było częścią współorganizowanego przez Akademię Supraską i Katedrę Filologii Słowiańskiej UŁ (Katedra Filologii Słowiańskiej Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego) studencko-doktoranckiego wyjazdu naukowego na Podlasie, w którym wzięli udział wykładowcy oraz studentki i studenci naszej uczelni, a także Instytutu Slawistyki Zachodniej i Południowej Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego (Instytut Slawistyki Zachodniej i Południowej UW).

Członkostwo honorowe Profesora Aleksandra Naumowa jest zaszczytem i wyróżnieniem dla Centrum Ceraneum.

🇵🇱/🇬🇧 Colloquia Ceranea – zaczynamy w przyszłym tygodniu!
W dniach 7–9 maja odbędzie się ósma edycja naszej multidyscyplinarnej konferencji. Przez trzy dni, wraz z wybitnymi badaczami z różnych krajów, będziemy zgłębiać zagadnienia związane m.in. z:
• historią pożywienia w antyku i Bizancjum
• historią antycznej i bizantyńskiej medycyny
• średniowiecznymi herezjami
• interakcjami tekstualnymi między Bizancjum a światem słowiańskim
• oraz mnóstwem innych tematów z zakresu historii antyku i średniowiecza.

Colloquia Ceranea starts next week!
From 7–9 May, we will host the eighth edition of our multidisciplinary, international conference. Over the course of three days, we will explore a wide range of topics, including:
• ancient and Byzantine food history
• ancient and Byzantine history of medicine
• medieval heresies
• textual interactions between Byzantium and the Slavonic world
• and much more.

Alchemy, ancient and pre-modern medical prescriptions in practice. Recordings from the last two sessions of Colloquia Ceranea VII showcase interdisciplinary approaches to the experimental reconstruction of ancient, Byzantine, and early modern alchemical and medical recipes.
They explore:
• Byzantine alchemical formulas
• multisensory approaches to historical pharmacy
• the challenges of recreating ancient and Byzantine perfumes.

The papers highlight how collaboration between historians, philologists, chemists, and physicians can generate new insights into textual interpretation, material culture, and sensory experience in the past.
