OUR AMBASSADOR FROM CAMEROON IN CHINA! We're thrilled that one of our ambassadors, Loic, showcased TME Education at Maker Faire Shenzhen 2025!

Maker Faire Shenzhen is the world’s leading celebration of makers and educators, bringing together hands-on innovators to share ideas, inspire young minds, and demonstrate what the future of technology can become when creativity meets purpose. It was held in November in Shenzhen, China, featuring over 100 stands and thousands of visitors.

Loic was honored to be selected among the 100 innovation ambassadors of 2025, representing Cameroon. This recognition is very prestigious!
At his stand, he displayed various projects and items, including the TME Education Kit and Robotsafe V3 robot which is an educational and farming robotics platform that collects and monitors agricultural data. It’s also used to teach embedded systems, robotics, and AI.I.

We are eternally grateful for people like Loic with mission and passion. This event was truly inspiring for TME Education team!

During September, two students took part in the Industrialization Skills Week Africa, where they showcased technical projects developed during the workshops. They receved constructive feedback from experts in technology and mining innovation.

Of course, there were a lot of other workshop activities in Makerspace Zambia. A new group of students was presented with knowledge about electronics and components, software and programming tools, as well as workshop and project support.

As always, our tme educators continue to enpower young innovators by their neverending support and attention to detail.

As a continuation of the Tech Sprint Innovation Program conducted in May 2025, the top three winning teams were invited to pitch their innovative projects.🧠

The first team focused on a water purity detection system, the second on a smart water tank overflow prevention system, and the third on a fire detection and alerting system.💡

All of these topics refer to local and ongoing problems. It's so amazing to find solutions for your own community!

We are so happy that the groups we supported visited AI for Good Finals in Geneva. During the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Grand Finale, from 37 countries, there were 17 in the junior category and 20 in the senior category. Groups from Ghana and Zambia had an opportunity to showcase their views on this year's theme "Disaster Response Scenarios". And the team from Ghana placed third in the junior category!

It wouldn’t be possible without the help of our tutors – Douglas (Ghana) and Obrey (Zambia), the co-organizers of national selections. Our partner, the The MakersPlace in Ghana is a hub for young creators who want to team up and make something interesting and life-improving in the field of technology. It’s at places like these that great minds grow.

We are thrilled for everyone who participated in the AI for Good Initiative. And we look forward to more events like this in the future!

What is ? It’s a platform made by The International Telecommunication, a United Nation agency for digital technologies in Partnership with the Government of Switzerland and 40 other United Nation agencies. Their mission is to solve global challenges using Artificial Intelligence (AI). As part of this project, our Zambian ambassador, Obrey, acted as The Lead Organizer of the AI for Good Challenge in Zambia. He had the privilege of spearheading a national initiative. It brought together over 30 students from high schools and colleges across the country.

The students were trained and mentored at the Makerspace in Lusaka, where they learned valuable hands on skills and prepared for the challenge as well as some of them were elected for the finale in Geneva. They will roudly take part in the 2025 AI for Good Summit, which will be held from July 8–11. This year’s theme, Robotics for Disaster Response, focuses on how AI and robotics can help solve real world problems, especially those linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

We wish them a lot of success, great experience and motivation to follow their passion to change the world for the better!
