Every girl deserves the chance to learn, grow, and chase her dreams—no matter where she comes from. In many remote areas, opportunities for girls are limited, but together, we can change that! At Meher-e-Khun, we strive to create a space where both girls and boys can express themselves through music, gain knowledge through awareness sessions, and build a brighter future.
If you’re passionate about making a difference, we’d love to welcome you! Whether you want to visit, collaborate, or start a project, let’s work together to support and uplift the youth. 💡🎶
Meher-e-Khun is a registered organization which works as a social enterprise in Yasin, District Ghizer, Gilgit Baltistan.
It is working to support the local community. We have a library, and a music school where youth is engaged in healthy and producitve activites like learning different musical instruments like Rubab. Also, there are awarness session also held on various topics like
mental health, career councling and more.
At Meher e Khun there is a residency faciltiy, and restaurant as well which, creates job opportunities and helping the local
people grow financially.
Our mission is to provide a safe space for the youth to learn, explore, and build a better future.

Honoured and humbled to host a group of professors from China’s Tsinghua University and Quid-e-Azam university at Meher-e-Khun back in August 2024. Tsinghua university and QUAU is collaborating on a research project to preserve the budhist archeological sites in Pakistan. The professors also showed their interest to provide an exchange opportunity for Meher-e-khun’s music program.
