Civil engineering department MUST. Published today...

National Technology Council (NTC) visited Iqra National University on 11th March 2021 for the zero-visit accreditation for the batches of Civil Engineering Technology for 2018, 2019 and 2020. Dr Anwar Khitab Convener, Dr Rao Arsalan Khushnood Expert Civil technology and Mr Fahad Amin Representative of NTC visited Iqra National University. During their visit, they met the Vice-Chancellor Dr Shahjehan Khan, Dean Dr Jahangir Durrani, Registrar Dr Malik Taimur, Associate Dean Dr Jahanzeb Khan and Chairman Civil Dr M Zeeshan Ahad. Later CED Chairman and his team Engr Hasnain, Engr Imtiaz HOP, Engr Mousaab Habib Bangash Convenor OBE Engr Fawad Ahmad, Engr Abdul Basit, Engr Marwan Raza and Engr Ashraf Ali, presented the case of the Civil Engineering Technology Department to the respected NTC team of evaluators. The NTC team visited all the CED laboratories, classrooms and interacted with the students and appreciated the effort and facilities provided by the University. The team visited the INU fitness centre and highly appreciated the facility developed by the University. In the end, a detailed meeting was conducted with the faculty of Engineering technology and evaluated their OBE based files and students’ performances and the OBE expert software. The team held a final meeting with the chairman and communicated their views and suggested recommendations and measures that the department must take to ensure a smooth process of accreditation and OBE attainment in the next visit. The NTC team assured that the INU has met all the basic requirements for the attainment of NTC accreditation and the INU CED case will be put up for review at the NTC General Body meeting and Approval.
