When Teachers Lose Their Authority, Who Will Guide Our Children?
Child protection and child psychology are important, but so are the dignity, respect, and legitimate authority of teachers.
Today, many teachers feel increasingly restricted in dealing with indiscipline. They may hesitate to correct, reprimand, or address inappropriate behavior because of fear of complaints and misunderstandings. At the same time, some parents may interpret every form of correction as humiliation or harm to their child.
The purpose of this video is not to support physical punishment or disrespect toward children. Rather, it is a call for balance, mutual respect, and responsible parenting.
Children need protection—but they also need boundaries, discipline, character-building, and guidance. Teachers and parents must work together to create an environment where children are respected, teachers are respected, and education remains meaningful.
A child’s dignity matters. A teacher’s dignity matters too. Let’s build a culture of respect, responsibility, and constructive discipline.
