The Alumni Office of the University of Wah, in collaboration with the Directorate of Media & Publications, organized an episode of the UW Alumni Podcast on 09 June 2026 to strengthen alumni engagement and provide students with insights into industry expectations.

Hosted by Mr. Umar Hayat Khan, the session featured Mr. Kafeel Ur Rehman, an alumnus of the Department of Computer Science and the current CEO of Health Cast. Centered on the theme “From University to Industry,” the discussion highlighted the importance of adaptability, lifelong learning, effective communication, and the development of both technical and interpersonal skills for career success.

Drawing from his academic and professional journey, Mr. Kafeel shared perspectives on emerging industry trends, career opportunities, and the challenges graduates face while transitioning from academia to the professional world. He also emphasized the value of academic excellence and extracurricular involvement in building confidence, resilience, and career readiness.

The podcast served as a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, career guidance, and alumni interaction, helping to strengthen alumni-student connections and support students' academic and professional development.
