A letter circulating regarding "Policy Guideline: LL.B 4-Year Program Duration and G*T Eligibility for Current Students" is Fake and Unauthentic.

Students are advised not to rely on or share unverified information and to follow only official announcements issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and their respective universities.

Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Multan has released the merit list schedule for Fall Semester 2026 admissions (Morning and Evening Programs). Merit lists for Council-Regulated Programs, including Pharmacy, DVM, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, and Software Engineering, will be displayed from 15 July 2026, while merit lists for BS 4-Year, ADA, and ADS Programs will commence from 23 July 2026. The admission process will continue through multiple merit lists, with classes scheduled to begin on 17 August 2026. Applicants are advised to regularly visit the university admission portal and ensure timely payment of dues according to the announced schedule.

Bahauddin Zakariya University Sub-Campus Vehari proudly Congratulates (Dr.) Ishfaq Ahmad (Lecturer, Deptt. of Law) and Campus Director Dr. Faiz Bakhsh (Supervisor) on Successful PhD (Law) Defense by the Scholar on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

The Institute of Social and Cultural Studies, BZU held the public defense of the PhD dissertation of the scholar entitled “Evidentiary Value of DNA Technology in the Administration of Criminal Justice System in Pakistan: Problems and Prospects.”

The External Examiner Prof. Dr Zia-ul-Haq (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, Worthy Vice Chancellor, University of Narowal) appreciated the scholar's research efforts, congratulated him on the successful defense, and recommended the award of the PhD degree.

The event was attended by BS, MPhil, and PhD students, as well as faculty members of the Institute of Social and Cultural Studies, University Gillani Law College, and BZU Sub Campus Vehari.

At the conclusion of the session, Prof. Dr. Tahir Mehmood (Director, Institute of Social and Cultural Studies) congratulated both the scholar and the supervisor on this achievement and thanked all participants for their presence and contributions.
