Our Reception Breakfast with Parents was a wonderful opportunity to slow down, share a simple breakfast, and create special moments together. From little smiles to meaningful conversations, it was a morning filled with connection, laughter and togetherness.

At Sidr Schol we truly believe that a strong **school–parent partnership** is at the heart of a child’s journey. When families and school come together, we create a supportive community where children feel loved, valued and inspired to grow.

Assalamoalaikum.

We're delighted to announce our Mother & Toddler Programme, "Ruh and Roots" 🌿 — a warm space for little ones to explore, connect, and grow alongside their mothers, rooted in Sidr School's LEAP vision.
Designed for children aged 1 to 3.5 years, our 1.5-hour sessions nurture:

🌱 *Learn* — natural curiosity and discovery
💛 *Engage* — sensory, motor, and language exploration

🎙️ SIDR SPEAKS | BULLYING AWARENESS MONTH

This month at Sidr School, we’re focusing on something that matters deeply: bullying, belonging, and creating a safe space for every child.

Through Sidr Speaks, an initiative of Sidr School, we believe that students’ voices truly matter. Who better to help us understand bullying than the children who experience, observe, and navigate friendships every day?

🎧 We sat down with our Grade 4 & 5 learners for an honest podcast conversation to hear their perspectives on:
✨ What bullying really means to them
✨ How they recognise it
✨ How it makes children feel
✨ What they think we can do about it
✨ How students can stand up for one another

**Learning Beyond Boundaries at SIDR School!**

We were honoured to welcome Ms. Nadia Ali, an Education Consultant from Canada with nearly **20 years of experience in teaching and educational consultancy**.

During her visit, Ms. Nadia conducted *classroom observations, facilitator training, and on-ground teaching support*, sharing valuable insights and practical strategies aligned with international learning standards.

Her observations, guidance, and expertise have provided our educators with meaningful opportunities to reflect, grow, and further strengthen the quality of learning at SIDR School.

Every smile, every step, every word remembered, and every moment of courage on stage is a milestone worth celebrating.

Our Early Years and Reception students may be little, but standing in front of an audience of family and friends is a huge achievement. It isn't about a perfect performance—it's about growing in confidence, believing in themselves, and taking brave little steps that will shape who they become.

We celebrate every child who stepped onto that stage with confidence, joy, and a heart full of excitement. We couldn't be prouder of each and every one of them.

Because at Sidr, we don't just celebrate the stars of the show—we celebrate every child who finds the courage to shine.
