The Alumni Reunion 2025 was a landmark event for GIK College, held after a very long time and first time at this scale, emphasizing its role in serving the local and broader community for thirty years. It showcased the wide-ranging impact of GIK College alumni in fields such as medicine, military, engineering, IT, education, social services, and business, both nationally and abroad. With Dr. Fazal Ahmed Khalid, Rector GIKI, as the chief guest and the Convener of the School Advisory Committee Dr Sabir Afridi as the guest of honor, the event highlighted the institution's broad connections. Attendees included past teachers, current staff, and HSSC students, who had the opportunity to revisit their school, meet peers and mentors, and share success stories influenced by their educators. Tributes were paid by all to their teachers and the school staff. The event concluded with networking opportunities and a tour of the improved school facilities. The event coordinator Mr Shsgzeb Munir thanked the Administration of GIKI for facilitating the event and appreciated cohesive team of volunteers and school staff who worked for making this event a success. Principal GIKC, regarded the event as pivotal in enhancing the school's culture and highlighting its significance in changing mindsets as the young students needed inspiration from their seniors who travelled the same roads before them.In her words,"reunions are like a portal where past, present and future meet each other.
The rector appreciated the organizers and thanked the alumni who travelled long distances to attend the event.
