Qur'an grants you respect like nothing else.

AlKisai, the 7th famous reciter from the seven famous Qira'aat says:

I was leading Haroon AlRasheed in prayer and I got amazed by my own recitation. So I made a mistake that not even a young boy would make. Then he mentions the mistake. He says but Haroon AlRasheed couldn't dare to say to me: You made a Mistake.

So after we finished the prayer, he asked me: What type of language is this (keep in mind that AlKisai is an expert in different styles of recitation and Haroon already knows that)?

So Imam AlKisai replied: O leader of the believers, the horse stumbled (meaning I made a mistake).

On this Haroon AlRasheed said: As for what you've said, then yes.

Another point of benefit about this great Imam is what Imam AlShatibi mentions in his famous poem of 1173 verses (حرز الأماني ووجه التهاني). He says:

وأما علي فالكسائي نعته
لما كان في الإحرام فيه تسربلا

As for Ali, then he was called AlKisai...

Because of the frequency in which he used to stay in Ihram (frequently doing Umrah and Hajj).

يرفع الله الذين آمنوا منكم والذين أوتوا العلم درجت

Al-Fudayl ibn ‘Iyaad (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
If you are able not to be known, then do so. What harm will it do you if you are not known? What harm will it do you if no one praises you? What harm will it do you to be blameworthy before people if you are praiseworthy before Allah, may He be glorified and exalted?

Learning has no age.

Ibn ul Jawzi learned Qira'aat when he was around 80 years of age!!!!

The advices Luqman عليه السلام gave to his son:

1. Tawheed.
2. Taqwa of Allaah.
3. Establishing prayer.
4. Enjoining good.
5. Forbidding evil.
6. Kindness towards creation.
7. Humility and humbleness.
8. Moderation.

Note the order. He starts from Tawheed and comes to other things in order of their importance.

One could even say there is no use of the latter advices if one is not acting upon the former ones.

For example, without Tawheed, your prayer will not benefit you.

Similarly, if you have great manners but don't pray your manners won't benefit you.

If you're enjoining good and forbidding evil, but don't have Taqwa of Allaah then that won't benefit you as you'll keep on sinning yourself while stopping others.

The Quran is an amazing book if only we ponder upon it a bit. You can't learn manners like this anywhere except from the Quran and those who follow it.
