In compliance with the directives of the Provincial Minister for Education, Mr. Syed Sardar Ali Shah and the Provincial Secretary Education, Mr. Zahid Ali Abbasi, an awareness rally with the title of "Implementation of Sindh Enrolment & Retention Drive 2026-27" for the enrolment of children in government schools for the new academic year 2026–27 will be held on Thursday, 16 April 2026, at 9:30 AM.
The rally will be led by the honorable Deputy Commissioner Thatta Mr. Sarmad Ali Bhagat, Mr. Huzoor Bux Khaskheli District Education Officer (ES&HS) Thatta, Mst. Zainab Shaheen and Mst. Parveen Akhtar Deputy DEOs Secondary Thatta.

With a renewed spirit and a firm resolve to hit the ground running, an important meeting of the teaching faculty was convened at Government Boys High School Akhund Baradia Campus Thatta on the commencement of the new academic session 2026–27. The meeting was presided over by the worthy Head Master Mr. Aashique Ali Memon, who steered the proceedings with vision and foresight.

At the outset, class teachers and subject teachers were selected to ensure smooth sailing of academic activities. The Head Master, setting the tone of the meeting, emphasized that students and their future remain the top priority and any kind of negligence would not be taken lightly. He urged the teaching staff to leave no stone unturned in fulfilling their responsibilities.

While appreciating the dedication and hard work of the teachers, he reminded them to keep their shoulders to the wheel and discharge their duties with punctuality, honesty and a strong sense of responsibility. His words served as a wake-up call and a guiding light for all present.

The teaching faculty, on the same page, assured their full cooperation and commitment, pledging to go the extra mile for the bright future of their students and to uphold the good name of the institution.

With great zeal and zest, the Result Declaration Ceremony of the Local Annual Examination 2025–26 for Classes VI, VII and VIII was organized at Government Boys High School Akhund Baradia Campus Thatta. The event turned out to be a feather in the cap of the institution, reflecting its commitment to academic excellence.

The ceremony was presided over by the worthy Head Master Mr. Aashique Ali Memon, who led the proceedings with grace and dignity. The occasion was a true celebration of hard work bearing fruit, as students reaped what they had sown throughout the academic year.

The position holders were awarded trophies as a token of appreciation by the Head Master, School’s First Assistant and esteemed members of the teaching staff, adding icing on the cake to their remarkable achievements.

Kashmir Solidarity Day Observed with Zeal by GBHS Akhund Baradia Campus Thatta

Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed across Thatta with patriotic spirit and fervour in line with nationwide commemorations to express unwavering support for the people of Kashmir.

In this regard, a delegation from Government Boys High School Akhund Baradia Campus Thatta, led by Senior Head Mistress Apa Ayesha Jakhro and Head Master Mr. Ashique Ali Memon, participated in the district’s central rally. The participants marched from the school to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Thatta, where they joined the main procession held to highlight solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

The rally witnessed active participation from the teaching staff, including Head Master of Merged Primary School Akhund Baradia Mr. Shahid Hameed Mughal and faculty members of Akhund Baradia Campus High School Mr. Naeem Shafi Arain, Mr. Imdad Hussain Qureshi, Mr. Waqar Ahmed Bhutto, Mr. Zeeshan Mustafa Memon, Mr. Kareem Bux Talpur, Mr. Moula Bux Talpur and Mr. Haji Khan Jakhro.

Following the rally, the delegation also attended the main ceremony organized by the District Education Officer (ESHS) Thatta, where they proudly represented Akhund Baradia Campus School and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting national unity and awareness among students regarding the Kashmir cause.
