Today, on February 13, 2026, a Khatm-e-Quran was held at GPS Cantt Tank before Ramdan, where special prayers were offered for the prosperity, progress, and well-being of the country.

On 28/01/2026, Mr. Rehmat Ullah Burki, SDO PESCO (WAPDA), Tank, paid a visit to GPS Cantt Tank. During his visit, he inspected the classrooms and reviewed the overall performance of the teaching staff. He also interacted with the students and emphasized the importance of acquiring education and promoting a culture of learning.

Mr. Burki shared that he himself had been a student of Cantt School Tank during the years 1974–1975. He expressed deep affection and admiration for the institution and fondly remembered his teachers, acknowledging their invaluable role in shaping his life.

He further stated that whenever there is a need, he will always be ready to support his school and its students in every possible way. He also offered prayers for his respected teachers who have passed away, paying tribute to their lifelong dedication and services.
