Rani Kot Return Journey Part 3

We went on a journey to Rani Kot (a historical and the largest fort of Sindh, Pakistan) yesterday. We reached there at about 4pm. It started raining in the evening. We hurried to return from there as soon as possible, but the torrential rain hindered our progress. As the roads were under construction, and there were gaps left for the rain water running off the mountains to flow through. Instead there should have been bridges over them for traffic. All the vehicles were stuck at one such gape nearer to the mountains that had a very fast flow of water. After waiting for hours, the water level decreased. Yet there were ditches and the sediment of rocks that posed a problem for the vehicles to pass through that water. Nobody from among the drivers could muster up courage to get into the water first.
Many of the vehicles were stuck in the deep water, and could not move. The engines switched off when their exhausts were filled with water. The same happened with my vehicle, but it was because of the brave people who helped me by pushing it to the other side of the road. There were such people who were ready to help the people by pushing their vehicles to the other side. Though they were also travellers, yet they got into the water in the rainy cold weather. They helped the people who were complete strangers to them. I thank them and salute them!
