Zindagi Foundation Sindh is a not for profit Non Government Organization, established in September 2011 and has been registered under society’s act 1860. In Pakistan there are more than 110 districts and District Sanghar is most backward area of Pakistan where every year floods and the natural calamities hit the large scale of communities. With passage of time it extended its services to th
e regional level (region should be consider province). The organization in this situation has added it’s approached services to the communities and has focused the promotion of the human development and the social development. Mission:
Building upon a strong foundation of social development, research and planning, empowers societies for responsibly and sustainable care for nature, health, and for all well-beings of humanity. The organization emerged in the communities, formed by the communities for the solution of their problems. It was the response of the people against the negligence and the backwardness of the area in many of the sectoral areas including health, education, and provision of safe drinking water, violation of human rights and the continuous disasters of the district communities in the shape of flood and in the shape of scarcity of the irrigation water. That is why the organization is now fully responded by the communities. The organization has the strong linkage with the local CBOs and other NGOs of the province and focus upon the building the sustainable community in the area. It has been in close contact with the national as well as international forums. As some of the partners are also working with the organization so it feels strong sense of commitment to work for the groups at the community level.
