Independence Day Celebrations at Cadet College Sanghar

Cadet College Sanghar celebrated the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan with great national spirit, enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The day dawned with Fajr prayers, recitation of the Holy Quran and special prayers for the martyrs of independence, and progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

The celebrations formally began with a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by the reading of the message of the Chief of the Naval Staff. Faculty, staff, cadets, and teachers and students of Fatima Jinnah School participated with great enthusiasm.

An impressive programme was subsequently held at Iqbal Auditorium, where cadets and young students of Fatima Jinnah School presented speeches, national songs and vibrant performances expressing their love for the motherland.

Professor Hamida Masood Shah, a renowned notable, social worker and philanthropist of Sanghar was Chief Guest. She highlighted the significance of Independence Day and paid tribute to the sacrifices of the forefathers and martyrs of Pakistan, as well as the courage and dedication of the Armed Forces.

Earlier, Captain Shahid Rafiq, Pakistan Navy, Commandant & Principal, emphasised the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the vital role of education and character-building in preparing the youth for national service. He advised the use of innovative technologies in academics and stressed on the importance of discipline, responsibility, self-confidence, patriotism and leadership in shaping the future leaders of Pakistan.

The celebrations concluded with a traditional ‘Bara Khana’ for the college community.

The Commandant & Principal appreciated the dedicated efforts of the faculty, staff, cadets and students in making the celebrations a memorable occasion.

Cadet College Sanghar Faculty Excursion to Keenjhar Lake

As part of its commitment to promoting staff well-being and fostering team spirit, Cadet College Sanghar organized a faculty excursion to the scenic Keenjhar Lake.

The day featured an enjoyable boating activity, followed by recreational team-building moments and a delightful lunch in a serene natural setting. The excursion provided the faculty with a welcome opportunity to unwind, strengthen professional camaraderie, and rejuvenate away from the demands of college routine.

The refreshing experience has reinvigorated the faculty, enabling them to return with renewed enthusiasm, energy, and commitment as they prepare to welcome the cadets for the commencement of the new academic session with effect from 3 August 2026.

Cadet College Sanghar remains dedicated to nurturing not only the holistic development of its cadets but also the well-being and professional excellence of its faculty, recognizing that motivated teachers are the cornerstone of a vibrant learning environment.

ARRIVAL OF NEW INTAKE - BATCH 2026
Joining and Orientation Day for Batch-2026 was held at Cadet College Sanghar on 31 July 2026. The day commenced with cadets and parents visiting their respective houses and touring college facilities. The main ceremony at Iqbal Auditorium began with a welcome address by Captain Shahid Rafiq PN, Commandant/Principal, CCS. He emphasized the importance of holistic development and character building alongside academic excellence. He assured the parents that he would regard their children as his own and that their welfare, discipline, and grooming would remain the college’s top priority. He further stated that CCS aims to produce leaders who are academically sound, physically robust, and morally upright to meet the challenges of the future.

Subsequently, the Director of Studies and the Adjutant briefed the audience on college policies pertaining to academics, daily routine, discipline, and co-curricular activities. This was followed by a Question & Answer session to address parents’ queries regarding cadet life and welfare. The event concluded with a group photograph with the Commandant/Principal and the newly inducted cadets.

The Principal of Cadet College Sanghar paid a courtesy call on Honorable MNA Ms. Shazia Marri following his assumption of command.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest pertaining to the progress and development of Cadet College Sanghar were discussed. The Principal highlighted the College’s vision, ongoing initiatives, and the continued need for the support of the Government of Sindh in further strengthening the institution.

Ms. Shazia Marri appreciated the College’s consistent academic excellence, character-building efforts, and its valuable contribution towards grooming the youth into responsible and capable future leaders. She reaffirmed her support for the institution and expressed her commitment to extending all possible cooperation for its continued growth and development.

The meeting concluded with a shared resolve for further flourishing of Cadet College Sanghar and to create greater educational opportunities for the youth of Sindh.
