A highly engaging and informative seminar on Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Complex Engineering Problems (CEP), and Assessment was successfully conducted by the Electrical Engineering Department. The session was delivered by Dr. Kashif Hussain (Head of Accreditation, EE) and efficiently coordinated by Accreditation Coordinator Miss Kainat.

The seminar emphasized Complex Engineering Problems (CEP), particularly focusing on the systematic mapping of Knowledge Profiles (WK) and problem attributes with CEP, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards. The session provided valuable insights into linking course learning outcomes with real-world engineering challenges and developing effective assessment techniques to accurately measure student performance.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Saeed Ahmed Khan Abro (Dean, Faculty of Engineering), Dr. Sharjeel Afridi (Head, Electrical Engineering Department), and Prof. Dr. Abdul Qadir Rahimoon (Pro Vice Chancellor, Kandhkot Campus), along with other respected faculty members of the department.

Faculty actively participated in interactive discussions, shared practical experiences, and explored innovative approaches to enhance teaching methodologies, learning outcomes, and assessment practices.

This seminar stands as an important continuous learning activity within the OBE framework, reflecting the department’s strong commitment to academic excellence, continuous improvement, and alignment with international accreditation requirements.

The Department of Electrical Engineering successfully conducted its 11th Board of Studies (BoS) Meeting on 12 February 2026. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Sharjeel Afridi, Head of the Department, and was attended by both internal and external members.

During the meeting, key agenda items were discussed in detail. Members provided valuable feedback and constructive suggestions aimed at enhancing the academic curriculum and aligning it with current industry practices and academic standards.

بھٹو اسٹیم اسکالرشپ کے تحت ماسٹرز، ایم فل اور پی ایچ ڈی کے لیے وظائف فراہم کیے جائیں گے۔

وزیر تعلیم سندھ سید سردار علی شاہ نے سندھ کے طلباء کے لیے اس اقدام کو بلاول بھٹو زرداری کا تحفہ قرار دیا ہے۔

اسکالرشپ کا مقصد ایسے طلباء کی حوصلہ افزائی کرنا ہے جو سائنس کے موضوعات پر اعلیٰ تعلیم کے خواں ہیں۔

بھٹو اسٹیم اسکالرشپ لیڈی مارگریٹ ہال، یونیورسٹی آف آکسفورڈ میں تعلیم کے لیے دی جائے گی۔

سائنس، ٹیکنالوجی، انجینئرنگ اور میتھ (STEM) مضامین کے طلبہ کو ترجیح دی جائے گی۔

سندھ سے تعلق رکھنے والے باصلاحیت اور اہل امیدوار درخواست دے سکتے ہیں۔
