Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor, The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur, in collaboration with WWF-Pakistan, organized a World Environment Day awareness program at the university campus. The event focused on environmental sustainability, wildlife conservation, sustainable agricultural practices, and plantation initiatives. Mr. Toheed Ghani Mahesar, Manager – Food & Agriculture Programme, WWF-Pakistan, and Mr. Muhammad Rehan Shaikh, Senior Officer Capacity Building and Training – Food & Agriculture Programme, WWF-Pakistan, delivered insightful sessions highlighting the importance of biodiversity conservation, responsible resource management, and community engagement in environmental protection.

Prof. Dr. Shahzad Nasim, Dean, Faculty of Management, Information Science and Technology (FMIST), and Prof. Dr. Saifullah Bullo, Chairperson, Department of Human and Rehabilitation Sciences (HRS), addressed the participants and emphasized the shared responsibility of individuals and institutions in promoting environmental awareness and sustainable development. The event was attended by faculty members, students, and staff and concluded with a renewed commitment to supporting environmental conservation and fostering a greener future.

Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor, BNBWU, and in line with her commitment to promoting research excellence, innovation, and global academic engagement, students from the BS English (TESOL, Linguistics, and Literature) programs proudly represented The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur, at the Two-Day International Conference on “𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬,” held on 14–15 May 2026.

The conference, organized by Lahore Garrison University in collaboration with the Punjab Higher Education Commission, brought together scholars, researchers, and academicians from across the globe to discuss the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence in English Studies. Representing BNBWU with confidence and professionalism, the students presented their research before national and international scholars, showcasing their academic competence and research potential.
