The Department of Computer Systems Engineering, Sukkur IBA University has successfully organized a Generative AI Workshop. The workshop was conducted by Engr. Umair Ayaz Kamangar, FYP Coordinator, Departmemt of Computer Systems Engineering.

Students from across the university participated enthusiastically, with many—especially from the Departments of Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, and Electrical Engineering—gaining practical, hands-on experience in Generative AI.

The event was graced by the presence of our Dean, Engr. Dr. Saeed Ahmed Khan, whose unwavering support continues to inspire us. We are also sincerely thankful to our HoD, Engr. Dr. Abdul Sattar Chan, whose vision and leadership made this achievement possible.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all participants for making this workshop truly remarkable.

The Department of Computer Systems Engineering has successfully conducted the 2nd FYP Evaluation for the Fall 2022 batch.

The evaluation was led by the FYP Coordinator, Engr. Umair Ayaz Kamangar, who also served as an internal evaluator along with Engr. Dr. Junaid Ahmed and Engr. Dr. Mumtaz Kalaoi.

The students demonstrated satisfactory progress in their Final Year Projects across diverse and emerging domains, including Generative AI, Deep Learning, and Robotics. The evaluation panel observed that the students are making steady progress and effectively aligning their projects with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
