GGPS School Shamsabad

Today our school (Govt Girls Lower Secondary School ShamsAbad) celebrated picnic and Sports day.
Kids enjoyed alot and had a lot of fun by participating in different games i.e. Sack race, Spoon race, antakshiri, slides, cricket and so many others. Then everyone enjoyed the lunch.
The motive behind this event was to engage our students in physical co-curricular activities to make them more active and adaptive.

Solar System Activity

Students of 5th class of GGLS School Shamsabad performed activities on solar system. First, they made planets by filling sand in a shopper, and put it inside a balloon. That makes the balloon look like a planet. Later, they drew circles on a black chart to make orbits of planets. At last, each planet was placed in it's designated orbit. Teacher then explained the complete process and features and solar system to students. Students learned and simultaneously enjoyed the activity as they made planets themselves.

Students of Class one of GGLSS Shamsabad Sukkur performed weekdays in the school assembly. They made colorful cards and presented the same.

After semester, GGPS Shamsabad School Sukkur celebrated cultural day. Students were at ease and enjoyed the day. School arranged cocuriicular activities for students to freshen up their minds and expose them towards rich and civilized Sindhi culture.

GGPS Shamsabad School with the coordination and support from SEWA has distributed the school Uniforms, Shoes, Bags, Books and Stationery to all the newly enrolled needy students. Special thanks to Dr Dawarkadas

GGLS Shamsabad School Sukkur arranged a Picnic-cum-Sports Day for all the students at Benazir Park Sukkur, so that they may learn and participate in both indoor and outdoor activities. Such activities help the students in building their cognitive and physical capabilities. It increases students' self-esteem and gives a sense of community. Students actively participated in several sports and exhibited their planning, team work and physical capabilities.
