Girls Model High School Hospital Road Skardu celebrated Independence Day with immense valour and patriotic spirit. The ceremony commenced with the proud hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the entire gathering standing together to sing the National Anthem.
​The function paid rich tributes to the founder of the country, visionary leaders, and the brave soldiers guarding the nation's borders. Through inspiring speeches, patriotic songs, and skits, students highlighted the selfless sacrifices made by these heroes to secure and protect the homeland's freedom.
​The celebration wrapped up with an encouraging address from the Principal, who urged students to contribute positively to the country's future through discipline and hard work.

Govt. Girls Model High School, Hospital Road, Skardu is proudly announcing the result of its 1st Annual Examination 2026 of SSC-II with a remarkable *100% result*. The students demonstrated outstanding academic performance and dedication. In this achievement, *Nazia Batool from the Science Group* secured the *1st position in the school* and remarkably attained the *3rd position at the District level*. The school administration, teachers, and parents congratulate all successful students for this excellent result and wish them continued success in the future.

Govt. Girls Model High School Skardu overwhelmingly conducted the Parent-Teacher Student Meeting (PTSM) on 3rd July, for ECE to Class 10th, covering the 1st Term / Bi-Monthly Examination 2026.

Parents participated with great enthusiasm and punctuality. Teachers showed compassion and extended full support to them during the session.

The primary focus of the meeting was to stress upon the academic improvement and moral well-being of all students. Collaborative strategies were discussed to ensure better results in the upcoming term.

GMHSS celebrated 75 years of Pakistan-China friendship under the theme: _“Our friendship is deeper than the ocean, higher than the mountains, and sweeter than honey.”_ Students actively participated with speeches and songs, making the event engaging and memorable.The ceremony concluded with a renewed pledge to uphold the values of friendship and collaboration for future generations.

Marka-e-Haq was celebrated at GMHSS with great zeal and patriotism. Teachers and students participated vigorously in the program.

The event included speech, painting, and essay competitions to highlight the significance of May 10 and the bravery of our armed forces. Quizzes on national defense were also conducted to enhance students’ awareness.

Students presented national songs to pay tribute to the martyrs and armed forces.
The celebration fostered patriotism and pride among students and reminded everyone that truth and courage always prevail.
