Institute of Surgical Technology (Centre of Excellence) – MIDC Sialkot.
Our Students from Machinist Turner L-II, Batch-IV Class participated in comprehensive practical training focused on CNC machining. During the Practical Session, students gained hands-on experience operating a CNC Vertical Machining Centre, enabling them to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world technical environment.
The training significantly enhanced their practical knowledge, technical competencies, and machining skills, while providing valuable hands-on exposure to modern CNC technology and industrial practices.

On Dated 10-08-2026 the Departmental Committee on Small Business Development of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) held a meeting to discuss the services and benefits offered by the Metal Industries Development Centre (MIDC) Sialkot.

On the invitation of Mr. Sheikh Muhammad Shahid Inam chairman Small Bussiness Development SCCI, Mr. Khurram Shahzad Awan, Project Director, TEVTA MIDC/IST Sialkot, attended the meeting and delivered a detailed briefing on TEVTA MIDC Sialkot, highlighting the Common Facility Services offered by MIDC to support the industrial and business community.

The meeting provided a valuable platform to strengthen collaboration between TEVTA MIDC Sialkot and the business community, promote small business development, and create greater awareness about the available Common Facility Services and technical training of MIDC/IST to local industries.

The Worthy Chairperson TEVTA brig. Mr. Muhammad Sajid Khokhar, SI(M), Retd. visited TEVTA Institute of Surgical Technology (Centre of Excellence) – MIDC Sialkot. During the visit, the Worthy Chairperson visited all workshops and Classrooms and training facilities, inspected the institute's infrastructure, equipment, and training environment, and reviewed the ongoing academic and technical activities.

The worthy Chairperson also interacted with students from all trades, encouraging them to remain committed to excellence, enhance their technical competencies, and prepare themselves to meet the evolving needs of industry.
