The Institute of Nursing, Shikarpur proudly hosted a dignified celebration of on 12th , commemorating the legacy of the . The event was organized under the : “Our . Our Future. .”

Students from SMK Institute of Nursing and College of Nursing Female, Shikarpur participate in this event.


The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Naat Rasool (SAWW) and the National Anthem. Students delivered insightful speeches on Florence Nightingale’s pivotal role during the Crimean War. Creative tableaus were presented on handwashing practices and patient care, emphasizing hygiene and compassion in healthcare.
A notable feature was the student exhibition of models on prominent Nursing Theorists and Developmental Psychology Theorists. These exhibits were visited and appreciated by Chief Guest Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Jatoi, Assistant Commissioner Dr. Arifa Batool Rai, and Principal Sir Zahid Iqbal Channa, who engaged with students and commended their efforts.

• Sindhi cultural appreciation was expressed through the distribution of Ajrak gifts to all guests.
• Shields and certificates were awarded to SMK faculty members for their contributions during the academic session 2025–26.
• Second Semester students securing top three positions in the Mid-Term Examinations received shields in recognition of their achievements.
• Students from all batches were honored with certificates of appreciation for dedication, punctuality, and academic excellence.
