A Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Ansar Mughal brings over three decades of distinguished experience in accounts, finance, audit, fund management, recoveries, and budgetary planning. Having served on key leadership positions, including Regional Head and Director, he has also rendered valuable services as Treasurer at GC Women University Faisalabad, University of Jhang, and Government Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur.

رویہ تبدیل کیے بغیر بہتر ویسٹ مینجمنٹ اور ری سائیکلنگ ممکن نہیں، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر کنول امین

فیصل آباد میں منعقدہ انٹرنیشنل کانفرنس آن ری سائیکلنگ 2026 کے دوران گورنمنٹ کالج ویمن یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد کی وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر کنول امین نے پینل ڈسکشن میں شرکت کی اور ویسٹ مینجمنٹ، ری سائیکلنگ اور ماحول دوست طرز زندگی کے حوالے سے اہم نکات پر گفتگو کی۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ میٹنگز، تقریبات اور کانفرنسز میں استعمال ہونے والی بوتلوں یا گلاسز میں بچ جانے والا پانی اگر جمع کیا جائے تو اسے لاکھوں لیٹر قابل استعمال پانی میں تبدیل کیا جا سکتا ہے۔ ان کے مطابق چھوٹی چھوٹی عادات میں تبدیلی ماحول کے تحفظ کے لیے بڑے نتائج پیدا کر سکتی ہے۔

پروفیسر ڈاکٹر کنول امین نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ پانی کا درست استعمال، کھانا ضائع نہ کرنا، کچرے کی الگ درجہ بندی اور روزمرہ زندگی میں ذمہ دارانہ رویہ اپنانا ویسٹ مینجمنٹ اور ری سائیکلنگ کو کامیاب بنانے کے لیے ضروری ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ وسائل بچانا صرف حکومتی اداروں کی ذمہ داری نہیں بلکہ ہر شہری، تعلیمی ادارے، صنعت اور کمیونٹی کو اس میں اپنا کردار ادا کرنا ہوگا۔ دنیا کے وسائل بچانے کے لیے اپنے رویوں میں تبدیلی لانا وقت کی اہم ضرورت ہے۔

انٹرنیشنل کانفرنس آن ری سائیکلنگ 2026 میں سرکلر اکانومی، پائیدار ترقی، ری سائیکلنگ ٹیکنالوجیز، صنعتی فضلے کے مؤثر استعمال اور ماحولیاتی ذمہ داری جیسے موضوعات پر ماہرین نے اظہار خیال کیا۔

GCWUF successfully conducted the No-Commitment Session of the Mentoring Program for Universities (MPU) – NAHE-HEC Phase II through the Faculty and Staff Development Center (FSDC).
The orientation introduced prospective mentors and mentees to the mentoring framework, including roles and responsibilities, communication expectations, professional boundaries, and the overall mentoring process. The interactive session encouraged meaningful dialogue and highlighted the importance of mentoring in professional growth, leadership development, and academic excellence.

VC GCWUF inaugurates Physics Innovative Project Exhibition 2026

Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) inaugurated the Physics Innovative Project Exhibition on 9 June 2026, showcasing innovative projects developed by BS Physics and BS Computational Physics students. Faculty Coordinators, directors and heads of various departments accompanied the Vice Chancellor.

The Vice Chancellor appreciated the students’ creativity, hard work, and innovative thinking, and congratulated Dr. Ayesha Younus, Chairperson Department of Physics, and her team for successfully organizing the event.

The projects demonstrated practical applications of physics to address real-world challenges, including sustainable energy solutions and technological innovations with potential for industrial-scale development.

GCWUF Co-Organizes International Conference on Recycling

Faisalabad, June 10, 2026: GC Women University Faisalabad in collaboration with the University of Kamalia and GC University Faisalabad, co-organized the International Conference on Recycling (ICOR) bringing together researchers, industry experts to discuss solutions for recycling for sustainable future.

The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) participated in a panel discussion, emphasizing the importance of responsible common consuming behaviour and environmentally responsible lifestyles. She stressed that achieving the Sustainable Development Goals requires integrating recycling into daily life, campuses, homes and societal practices.

Through ORIC, GCWUF faculty presented research on Agricultural Waste Management and Recycling, showcasing innovative ways to transform agricultural residues into valuable resources.

The conference highlighted recycling technologies, circular economy practices in textile, food, poultry and other industries, and the need for stronger academia-industry-collaboration to advance sustainability through research and innovation.
