At Government High School Melp Upper Chitral Pakistan's 78th independence day was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm. "A group of enthusiastic scouts along the chief guest took part in the Independence Day celebrations and proudly hoisted the national flag, showcasing their patriotism and commitment to their country.
After the flag hoisting ceremony and National Anthem the ceremony began with the recitation of few verses from Holy Quran.Students from different classes participated in the event and presented Hamd, Naat, Milli Naghma and speeches on the occasion.
"The ceremony was graced by esteemed guest: Mr. Sami Ullah an engineer from construction company who belongs to Swat was the chief guest, while Mr. Ameed Alam Head Master of the School honored the event as the president.
The success of Pakistan against India in the operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos under Marka-e-Haq has added colors to this year's Independence Day celebrations. The students presented speeches on the topic of Bunyanum marsoos and praised Pakistan's victory over India in the four days conflict.

Tourism keeps you physically and mentally healthy. Outing for fun with students to a mountainous region full of glacier and greeneries is not only for fun but is a kind of motivation to ponder about the mysterious beauty of nature. GHS Melp Upper Chitral arranged two days study tour to a charming and heart wrenching area "BARGOON" situated at an altitude of round about 11000 feet in the beautiful valley of "MELP" Upper Chitral. The aim of the tour was to make the students enjoy the beautiful scenery and beauty of nature and to keep them physically and mentally active.
