Meeting with Chairman PHEC
Vice Chancellor University of Sargodha, Prof. Dr. Qaiser Abbas, held a meeting with the Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) at his office to discuss matters related to higher education development and institutional collaboration.
During the visit, the Vice Chancellor also attended the Search Committee Meeting for the appointment of the Treasurer, where important deliberations were held regarding administrative and financial governance.
The meeting reflects the continued commitment of the University of Sargodha towards strengthening academic excellence, transparent governance, and effective institutional leadership.

The University of Sargodha Directorate of Sports organized a colorful prize distribution ceremony to honor female students for their outstanding performance in the Annual Sports Gala. 🌟
MNA Iram Hamid Hameed graced the occasion as chief guest, while Dr. Atiqa Rehan Venes, CEO of Sargodha Dry Port Terminals, attended as guest of honor. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaiser Abbas, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan and senior faculty members were also present.
The event showcased vibrant cultural performances, a karate demonstration, and an exciting inter-department tug-of-war contest. Speakers emphasized the vital role of women’s participation in education, skills, and sports to build leadership, teamwork, and physical fitness.
