Career opportunity in U.S funded Program.

Access students at UoS celebrated American Independence Day on 27th July. Short documentaries, stage performances, short skits, Quiz competition on American history and cake cutting ceremony were parts of event. Few glimpses are here to show.

On 25th June we host a Consul General visit from Lahore at UoS. CG Colleen Crenwelge and Public Affairs Officer (PAO) Michael Gunain were chief guests. Mr. Muhammad Iqbal, Manager Punjab English Programs was also present on this occasion. PAO conducted a workshop on leadership with Access students. CG and PAO also interacted with students. On behalf of University administration Mr. Ijaz Asghar, Incharge English department presented souvenirs to guests. At the end bags were distributed among students by CG.

We planned a visit to KFC to get an exposure of American fast food on 23rd June as 6th and last activity of our intensive session. Deal boxes were given to students along printed handouts of Do's and Dont's of table manners
prepared by teachers.

We Planned a visit to Shaheen Cinema as 5th activity of intensive session on 22nd June to watch Aladdin movie directed by Guy Ritechie and produced by Walt Disney. Students really enjoyed this session and a short quiz related to movie was conducted by teachers on the way back to university.

We planned a visit to fountain house on 4th day of intensive session on 21st june. Students got the chance to meet and serve old, mentally re****ed and socially neglected people of community there. They had hours long chit chat session and lunch with them. Staff of fountain house gave brief description about its operations.

Day # 3 of intensive session of Access started with 'Art & craft' 🎨activity on 20th june. Mr. Buland Iqbal, lecturer from fine arts department of UoS facilitated activity. Mr. Buland holds Masters degree from NCA Lahore. He engaged students in different activities and students made different things including drawings 🖼and decore materials. Here are some picture to show.
