*Original*: I want you to attend the party.

✅ Second Reason: *To attend* is an Infinitive
And Infinitives doesn't change Tense when you report speech

✅Use to have + past participle(the perfect infinitive) when the action is already finished or did not happen.

For Example:

i.e.
