The unforgettable Sangotian

He was a Sangotian first and foremost later Halian whose picture hangs on the wall of the Alumni hall at the Burn Hall in Abbottabad. A capable educational Minister who did a lot for Swat including laying the foundation of the Swat Medical College. Above all he shed his last drop of blood in defence of Swat embracing martyrdom on 28th December.

The page requests all Sangotians present and past to remember this legendary Sangotian Shaheed Miangul Asfandyar Amirzeb in their prayers .

Service To Humanity

This picture was taken on Wednesday 26 April ,2023, of the proposed Patron - in-Chief of the Almuni of Public School Sangota Swat Honourable Prince Dr. Mahmud Aurangzeb, next to the Monument at Khyber Medical College Peshawar with its Motto of " Service To Humanity". .

The Sangotian Dr. Mahmud Aurangzeb as Dean Of the College showered the usual Sangotian affection of a Senior that I am sure will make Sereen Rafiq proud if she qualified and is studying at this very institution that is fastly being turned around to be amongst the very best in the entire country due to the sheer devotion of the Sangotian Prince, being the grandchild of the founder of Public School Sangota Swat ( Wali Sahab), who is even today respected in the entire length and breath of Swat for his all round developmental work.

The baby Sangotian Sehreen Rafiq, being once a topper of the Swat Board would remember the late Prince Adnan Aurangzeb as our beloved Patron - in- Chief , his Honourable lady wife, the three Princesses and a large number of senior Sangotians who travelled from far and wide to honour the Sangotian achievers, as their humble contribution for their encouragement.

No words are enough to thank Honourable Dr. Mahmud Aurangzeb, who despite his full time official duties at the prestigious Khyber Medical College, was kind enough to accept the proposal of being the Patron - in Chief - of the Alumni of our beloved Alma Mater Public School Sangota Swat.

Gateway To Childhood
This landmark school gate witnessed my carefree childhoods grow into adulthoods never to return back to revisit their past lost in their own challenges of lives whether pursuing professions or raising children. Sadly today nothing is the same not even this gate or the concrete school sign board all are lost like the very children lost in times never to return. Love you Sangota your memories are magical and and its effects to heal the deep wounds of the separation miraculous.

We are really very grateful to Allah for once again this year He has bestowed us great accomplishment .Our school got first position in SSC Board Exam 2022.One of our diligent student Manal Inam scored 1080 marks in SSC Board Exam .Heartily felicitations to all the Teachers ,Students and the Parents.

Rarity

In the aftermath of the untimely demise of late Prince Adnan Aurangzeb, and the chaos and uncertainty of life, coming together of old Sangotians of different batches both in age and status become a rarity.

This picture is one classic example of such rare occasions taken at the marriage of Haseeb Ghous son of Sangotian Amjad Ali, at Sangra Marriage Hall Qambar in Swat, on 8th June 2022, where senior sangotians of various batches came together under the same roof in a long time like once they were in the school within its same confines.

The group picture besides Malik Shaukat Ullah Khan former Governor KPK, whose own son also recently got married, has also Malik Akhram Khan, one of the senior most sangotians, whose grey hair today defies his good looks and agility of the past, as footballer during his school days.

Stay blessed and live long sangotians, your school days Carefree laughters still echoe in Sangota, that everyone in the picture can feel if not hear in reality, as life is an illusion between happiness and sadness and anything in between a deception that makes life and its reality like a mirage at the long distance appearing as an oasis, in the center of a desert that is pursued by everyone to be disappointed at the end of its being non - existent with sad end with not so happy beginning except constant struggle for prosperity and peace, when life comes to an end quicker then one realises.

With wickets falling fast, seizing such occasions with gratitude to the Almighty and promoting more mutual love and respect amongst Sangotians become need of the hour.
