*Women Empowerment and Inclusion in Decision Making*: Seminar on “Women empowerment and inclusion in decision making ” held at Women Sub-Campus, University of Malakand

The Directorate of Students Societies in collaboration with Women Sub-Campus of the University of Malakand, organized a seminar titled “Entrepreneurship from the Inside Out” on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. The event was arranged by the directives of Secretary, Higher Education Department with the collaboration of center of excellence on countering violent extremism Goverment of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Mr. Muhammad Akmal Khan, General Manager Business Development at YDI Training & Consultancy, served as the guest speaker.

His session focused on developing an entrepreneurial mindset, personal growth, and practical strategies for future business opportunities especially for women.

Prof. Dr. Rashid Ahmed, Vice Chancellor, University of Malakand, graced the event as the Chief Guest. He highlighted the importance of empowering women and ensuring their meaningful inclusion in decision-making roles, especially in today’s competitive and evolving professional landscape.

Dr. Rukhsana Ghaffar, Coordinator Women Sub-Campus, warmly welcomed the guest speaker and acknowledged the efforts of all contributors. The seminar was also attended by Dr. Muhammad Yousaf, Provost, and Dr. Maqsood ur Rehman Eshrat, Director Students Societies University of Malakand.

All Heads of Teaching Departments, Women Sub-Campus and large number of students participated. The seminar saw active involvement and positive feedback from participants, who appreciated the insightful and interactive session.

The event concluded on a note of gratitude and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to fostering women’s empowerment, leadership, and active participation in institutional decision-making.
