Dear Museum Directors and Curators, and all the Museum experts....

2nd Kashmir conference on archaeology and 6th All Pakistan Museums Conference is tentatively proposed to be organised at Muzaffarabad Azad Jammu and Kashmir from 21 to 22 September 2021.
I may like to introduce Pirzada Irshad Ahmad, Director General, Tourism and Archaeology AJK, a dedicated and passionate expert who organised first Kashmir conference on archaeology , establishment two museums at muzaffarabad and mirpur AJK ( under preparation), surveyed and documented archaeological sires and monuments, started conservation work at Red fort Muzaffarabad and signed MOUs with cultural institutions including Museums Association of Pakistan MAP.
No doubt he is best of the best tourism expert of AJK and Pakistan.
On his invitation secretary General Museums Association of Pakistan MAP visited AJK for finalising the conference arrangements and then he took us upper Kashmir and showed the heaven on earth... Kashmir.
The hospitality was excellent.
Pirzada's team of tourism development is excellent.
Pirzada himself is a pride of AJK.

This year's theme is "RETHINK AND REIMAGINE"
yes we must rethink and reimagine the museum field now.
This the time we must follow the Quranic direction on the subject.
Taboot e Sakina (BOX) was awarded to Adam (AS) having relics for the peace of heart. Relics from Allah and relics left behind by the people of all ages are important and museums are required to rethink and reimagine museums and the future of the museums as per Quranic Order.
