Govt College University Faisalabad has started its 2nd sub campus in Sahiwal after the success of it College for Women, Karkhana Bazar, Faisalabad.

The GC University’s journey started as a primary school in 1897 in the present building of Govt. It was promoted to High School and Intermediate College in 1905 and 1924 respectively. It was elevated to the degree level in 1933 and postgraduate disciplines were introduced in 1963. It has been 3 years of oral and verbal struggle, table talks, small protests and condemns against anti-student policies of Managing body of the campus. But it has been concluded that these efforts are bringing no fruit to the students.
It has been finally decided in a thorough meeting of around 25 CRs of different classes of the campus.
The meeting was called by the department of Engineering and Technology to figure out a plan.
It has been decided to put the campus on strike in order to:

1- accelerate the procedure of HEC Recognistion.
2- Resolve degree issues relating to Technologies
3- Establish Thorough Labs of Science and Technology
4- Increase cover Area including Classrooms to settle the classes properly.
