As we step into 2025, we take immense pride in reflecting on a year full of milestones and progress. Here's a glimpse of what the Radiology Department at Sahiwal Teaching Hospital Sahiwal accomplished in 2024:

✅ 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞-𝐨𝐟-𝐭𝐡𝐞-𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐑𝐈 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
A cutting-edge MRI machine has been installed and is fully operational, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and benefitting both patients and our trainees.

▶️ Acquisition of state-of-the-art portable Digital X-ray machines providing bedside imaging for critical patients.
▶️A new ultrasound machine has been installed in the Emergency Block, ensuring 24/7 services for emergency care.
▶️Bedside ultrasonography for critical patients which are unable to move to radiology department for ultrasound.

✅ 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:

▶️Two of our Assistant Professors cleared PPSC and promoted to Associate Professors.
▶️One of our contract based Assistant Professor cleared PPSC and achieved regular status.
▶️One of our Senior Registrar successfully cleared the prestigious FRCR UK exam on first attempt.
▶️Five of our trainees became Consultant Radiologists in a single attempt:
▪️4 cleared FCPS
▪️1 achieved MD
