Our Grade 6 students enthusiastically carried out a Filtration Activity, where they explored the concepts of soluble and insoluble substances and learned the difference between a solution and a suspension. Through hands-on investigation, they observed how filtration separates insoluble particles from a suspension, producing a clear filtrate while the solid particles left on the filter paper are called the residue.
This engaging practical activity strengthened their scientific observation, inquiry, and critical thinking skills, helping them connect classroom concepts with real-life applications.

Our teachers attended an engaging and insightful workshop on Communication, Language & Literacy (English). The workshop focused on effective strategies and techniques for developing children’s language, communication, phonics, reading and literacy skills.
The facilitator explained each strategy in detail and demonstrated practical ways to make learning meaningful, interactive and engaging for young learners. Special emphasis was placed on phonemic awareness, sound blending, phonics and the correct pronunciation of phonemes.
The session provided our teachers with valuable ideas and practical approaches that can be incorporated into everyday classroom teaching to support children’s learning and build a strong foundation in English literacy.
