The World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA) Pakistan Branch (South Zone) successfully organized a seminar titled “Ventilation & Disease Prevention in Poultry Production” on 22nd January 2026 at Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam, sponsored by Sona Feeds. A major highlight of the seminar was the technical and insightful lecture delivered by Dr. Farhan Farooq, Secretary General WPSA Pakistan, who emphasized the critical role of proper ventilation in reducing disease burden, improving bird welfare, and enhancing productivity in poultry operations. His practical insights and industry-focused recommendations were highly appreciated by participants. The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Sial, Vice Chancellor, as Chief Guest, and Mr. Mahmood Ahmed (CEO, Sona Feeds) as Guest of Honour, making the seminar a valuable learning experience for students, professionals, and stakeholders of the poultry sector.
