URGENT Important Update for Students: 17:03:2020 at 11:00 PM
As of now there will be no exams in May as per the Govt of Pakistan directive and Cambridge exam board has to follow the Govt of Pakistan directive.Kindly note the following in this regard
1. May/Jun exam entries will be shifted to Oct/Nov 2020.
2. Students will have more time to prepare as study time has extended.
3.The students will have virtual classes from 24 th March until face to face school starts.You will get emails for details about the virtual school.
4.Mock Exams papers will be emailed to every student and Parent with full instructions on how to submit back for checking virtually.Hence the Mocks shall take place as scheduled virtually invigulated by the parents .
All the students should give these exams.
5.The school internal grades are crucial for college admissions and predicted results, universities will demand.
3. Current IG 3/O 3 students will start IG 4 in August or earlier in June if the Govt reschedules the summer holidays & final year O Level / IGCSE students will be able to start AS Level in early August or earlier ( if Govt cancels summer holidays as in Sind).Both IGCSE / Olevel 3 and IGCSE 4/O levels will be given time in Oct/ Nov 2020 to sit for exams of IGCSE/ Olevels.
4. Current AS will also start A2 syllabus as early as possible and given break to sit for exams in Oct/Nov 2020.
5. Current A2 will complete school year until August .They will take virtual classes until the school is closed and will resume face to face class as the school opens.Hence they have extended period of study and will sit for finals in oct/Nov 2020.
6. For admissions in local Universities,there will be a delay in the commencement so hopefully the students will be able to start on the basis of provisional result( consultations between Cambridge board and HEC are in progress).For foreign Universities,they will definitely ask schools for provisional grades and the school department of career counselling is already reaching out to foreign universities to support their students( pls understand that Carona pandemic is a global emergency and many international universities are also closed)
