🌿 A Beautiful Story from Madinah 🌿

When the Muslims migrated from Makkah to Madinah, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ established brotherhood between the Muhajireen (emigrants) and the Ansar (helpers).

The Prophet ﷺ made Sa’d ibn Ar-Rabi’ (رضي الله عنه) the brother of Abdur-Rahman ibn Awf (رضي الله عنه).

Sa’d (رضي الله عنه) offered to share his wealth with his new brother. But Abdur-Rahman (رضي الله عنه) replied:

“May Allah bless your family and your wealth. Show me the way to the marketplace.”

He then worked and earned his living through trade.

💚 A beautiful lesson:
True brotherhood means helping others in their difficult times, while also encouraging dignity, hard work, and halal earning.

The Story of Makkah and Prophet Ibrahim (AS)

Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was commanded by Allah to leave his wife, Hajar (peace be upon her), and their infant son, Ismail (peace be upon him), in a barren valley.

At that time, there was no food, no water, and no people living there.

Prophet Ibrahim (AS) left them there and turned back. Hajar (RA) asked him why he was leaving them in such a place. She then understood that this was Allah’s command and said, “Then Allah will not abandon us.”

When their water was finished, Hajar (RA) began searching for water. She ran between the hills of Safa and Marwah again and again.

Then, by the mercy of Allah, water began to flow near baby Ismail (AS). This became the blessed well of Zamzam.

Later, Allah commanded Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Ismail (AS) to build the Kaaba. As they raised its foundations, they prayed to Allah to accept their work.

This is the same Kaaba that Muslims around the world face during their prayers and visit for Hajj and Umrah.

Lesson

This story teaches us that when we trust Allah and obey His commands, Allah can bring ease after hardship. The patience of Hajar (RA), the obedience of Ibrahim (AS), and the efforts of Ismail (AS) remain a beautiful example for Muslims until today.

The Man Who Killed 100 People

There was a man who had committed many serious sins. He asked a knowledgeable person whether Allah would forgive him. He was told that Allah's mercy is vast, but he should leave his sinful environment and go to a place where righteous people lived.

The man sincerely decided to change his life and began travelling toward that place. However, he died before reaching it.

The angels of mercy and the angels of punishment disputed about him. Allah commanded that the distance between him and the two places should be measured. He was found closer to the place of righteousness, so the angels of mercy took him.

Lesson: Never lose hope in Allah's mercy. A sincere decision to turn back to Allah is extremely valuable.
