The Government Vocational Training Institute for Women, GVTI(W) Kartarpura, Rawalpindi organized a Handicrafts and Stitched Dress Exhibition on 7th March 2026 to celebrate International Women’s Day. The exhibition highlighted the creativity, talent, and practical skills of the students.
The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Shagufta Yaseen Head of Department (Persian) NUML University Islamabad, along with respected Alumni Aunty Irshad Begum. The program was further enriched by the presence of Alishba, whose achievement served as a great inspiration for the students. 🌸

A Civil Defense Training Session was conducted by the Cheif Instructor, Mr.Tauqeer Haider, & the team from Civil Defence Department on 24/12/2025 at GVTIW Kartarpura.
The session focused on emergency preparedness , fire safety, evacuation procedures, and basic first aid. Staff and students actively participated in the training, which enhanced their awareness and response skills during emergencies. The session was informative and beneficial for improving overall safety preparedness.

Students of Diploma Vocational Teacher’s Development (DVTD) and Certificate Vocational Girls (CVG) of Government Vocational Training Institute (Women), Kartarpura, Rawalpindi, visited Lok Virsa, Islamabad on 13th November 2025 as part of their educational study tour.
The purpose of the visit was to enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, traditional crafts, and artistic diversity.
The visit proved to be an informative and inspiring experience. It provided valuable exposure to vocational relevance in cultural preservation and handicraft development, aligning with their training courses.
The students were accompanied by their respective instructors, and the trip concluded successfully with great enthusiasm and learning outcomes.
