Renal symposium arranged by Nephrology Department Rawalpindi Medical University - HFH at 6th RMU international scientific conference on 18th and 19th December. International speakers, Dr. Awais masood (nephrologist and critical care specialist),Dr. Muhammad Ilyas (pedeatriac nephrologist) and Dr. Irfan agha (GN specialist) from USA graced the occasion.
Special thanks to Dr. Raja Asif Masood, HOD Nephrology, HFH for his untiring efforts for making this symposium successful.

Cpc presentation by nephrology department on Primary Aldosteronism at NTB, RMU. Case was presented by our final year resident Dr Nabeel, followed by literature review on primary Aldosteronism by Dr Osama. The session was concluded by our HOD, Dr Raja Asif Masood.

Nephrology department, holy family hospital arranged a medical camp in Ranjali village. Our Assistant Professor Dr. Raja Asif Masood along with our trainees and House officers provided their services to the public. More than 200 patients were seen in the camp. Our department is always trying to provide welfare services to the patients and this camp was it's continuation.

Nephrology department holy family hospital celebrated world kidney day on 9th march, by arranging an awareness camp in premises of holy family hospital. Worthy vice chancellor and medical superintendant was invited for cake cutting ceremony and for world kidney day walk.

Workshop on insertion of tunneled catheter was conducted at nephrology department Holy Family Hospital, thanks to our facilitator Dr Batool Butt, Assisstant Professor of Nephrology, Fauji Foundation Hospital for sparing some time of her busy schedule. She gave a comprehensive lecture and also explained the different techniques of inserting a cath while using a USG machine.

A successful workshop conducted at holy family hospital regarding AV fistula assessment. A lecture followed by hands on practice on patients was done at nephrology department holy family hospital.
We thank our guest speaker and facilitator Dr. Daniyal Hassan (interventional nephrologist) for taking some time out of his busy schedule to teach our upcoming nephrologists.
