There are various routes to entry to THE INSTITUTE OF TAX ACCOUNTANTS PAKISTAN (CTA-PAKISTAN) certification programs and you do not need a business related degree to follow a career in Taxation.

Holders of completed recognized qualifications (post graduate, honors degree, ordinary degree, certificate, accounting etc. The Institute of Tax Accountants Pakistan or any other professional qualification etc.) may be entitled to various exemptions from THE INSTITUTE OF TAX ACCOUNTANTS PAKISTAN (CTA-PAKISTAN) exams.

CTA-PAKISTAN® (A.T.P.s) are the institutes that we have approved to offer training in different programs to meet the continuing education requirements needed by CTA-PAKISTAN® credential holders. To earn the (A.T.P.) designation, a provider must meet or exceed rigorous standards for quality and effectiveness as defined by CTA-PAKISTAN®.
