I hope you all are doing well. There’s an important issue happening in the university these days that I want to bring to your attention.
The issue is that this account on Instagram named upr sh*tposting is making videos of others without permission or concern and uploading them. And when they’re told to remove these videos, they say it’s ‘just for entertainment.’ But that entertainment can become harmful for anyone. It can create a problem for any student — whether it’s a boy or a girl, a female student — it can be a problem for everyone.

Because in these videos, people are shown without permission, without their consent. And very cheap, vulgar types of songs are added to these videos. These videos are not ‘just for fun.’ Because of them, anyone’s life can get into trouble.

I’ve shared a video with you. Watch it yourself and tell me: Is this the right way, to make someone’s video without their permission and then upload it? And if someone asks you to delete the video, to say ‘it’s just for entertainment, just for fun, take it as fun’? No one is considering that anyone’s life can be ruined, that a student could be stopped from coming to university, or that restrictions could be placed on their studies.
