THE PEACE by Salal Khan

What is peace?

Peace is social concept obeyed by mind. It is a state where there is no war or fighting, an agreement to end the war, state of tranquility or quite. It is a state of freedom from evil disturbance, security or order within a community provided forby law or customs.it is a pact or agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity.

Peace seeds in the world religion

Peace is always reveals in different world religion.

Islam: -

In the name of Allah, the beneficent and the merciful

Praise be to the lord of the universe who has created us in tribes and nations, that we may know each other, not that we may despise each other.
If the enemy incline towards peace, do thou also incline towards peace. And trust in god, for the lord is the one that hearth and knoweth all things.
And the servant of God, most gracious are those who walk on the earth in humanity, and when we address them, we say "Peace".

Jewish prayer for peace: -

Let us go the mountain of the lord, and we shall beat our swords into plough shares, and our spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up swords against nation. Neither shall they learn war any more.

Christian prayer for peace: -

Blessed are the peace makers, for they shall be known as the children of God. But I say to you that hear. Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you.

To those who strike you on cheeks, offer the other also.

Hindu prayer for peace: -

Oh God, Lead us from the un real to the real,

Oh God, lead us from darkness to light,

Oh God, lead us from death to immorality,

Shanty, shanty, shanty (peace) unto all.

Oh God almighty, May there be peace in regions.

May there be peace on earth. Bring peace to us, bestow peace on us.

Buddhist prayer for peace: -

May thus frightened ceased to be afraid, and may those bound be free.

American prayer for peace

O, Great Spirit, give us the wisdom to teach our children to love, to respect and to be kind to each other so that they may grow with peace.

Jews, Christians and Muslims all claim to be descended from Ibrahim (A.S). Our faiths are very clear that we are all somehow his children. But it is interesting that what are the characteristics of his children is that they are pursuers of peace. In other words, what should characterize us, his children, in our dedication to the pursuit of peace. In today's world, it seems that pursuers of peace are few. Terrorists wontly killed innocent people to make a political statement.

Countries go to war against other countries, without justification. Ethnic groups commit genocide against other ethnic groups. Racism still causes enmity between peoples. Children are killed daily, either in war by conventional weapons or in urban street violence by small arms. Even religion rhetoric is often filled with hate speech directed against other religions and ethnics. And the list of horror goes on and on. In the midst of all these trouble, who are those who pursue peace? Belief in God and His sovereignty and love, compel us to love one another and to desire for the wellbeing of all. This led us to work on behalf of others whose fulfillment is thwarted by evils in the world. For example, it leads us to do all we can to minister to those suffering from fatal disease to teach and preach against the stigmatization the diseases often brings and to case of the families of the effected persons.

Belief in dignity of human person demands that we treat all people with respect. This leads us to speak out against those who would humiliate, oppress, and commit violence against others. For example it leads us to condemn terrorism and war, comfort prisoners and seek to heal the divisions among peoples. I am sure that no one in this room, given current events would question the importance of this example.

Justice values: -

Belief in justice that we bring an end to injustice, this lead us to sustainable development for the economic wellbeing of all. It leads us to address the root causes of terrorism. It leads us to foster reconciliation between enemies. For example, it leads us to try to eliminate the crushing poverty that is the cause of alienation, desperation, and all other manners of hopelessness.

It is up to religion community to call upon societies to solve the problems, so that all people experience the wholeness that is offered by god to His creation. This example, which is often lost in secular circle, is certainly the responsibility of religions voice to rise. Peace has always been humanity's highest values, for some, supreme consider "Peace at any price".

The most disadvantageous peace is better than the most just war. Peace is more important than all justice. I prefer the most unjust peace to the most justly war that was ever waged. There was a good war or bad war.

Conclusion

My friends, this what it means for religions to seek peace in the light of God's revealed books. Let us seek peace. Let us work for peace.

And let us pray for the peace of God which is the basis of all peaces on earth.

In this way, it can thus be written in the Holy Quran.

"He, who killed a single person, killed the entire human beings
