Ramadan Du'a

یُخٰدِعُوْنَ اللّٰهَ وَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا ۚ وَ مَا یَخْدَعُوْنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَ مَا یَشْعُرُوْنَؕ۝

They seek to deceive Allah (i.e., the Messenger) and the believers, but (in fact) they deceive only themselves and they are not aware of it.*

وہ اللہ کو (یعنی رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو)٭ اور ایمان والوں کو دھوکہ دینا چاہتے ہیں مگر (فی الحقیقت) وہ اپنے آپ کو ہی دھوکہ دے رہے ہیں اور انہیں اس کا شعور نہیں ہے

(al-Baqarah, 2 : 9)

وَ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ یَّقُوْلُ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰهِ وَ بِالْیَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَ مَا هُمْ بِمُؤْمِنِیْنَۘ۝

And amongst people there are (also) some who say: ‘We believe in Allah and the Last Day,’ whereas they are not (at all) believers.

اور لوگوں میں سے بعض وہ (بھی) ہیں جو کہتے ہیں ہم اللہ پر اور یومِ قیامت پر ایمان لائے حالانکہ وہ (ہرگز) مومن نہیں

(al-Baqarah, 2 : 8)

اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِیْمَۙ۝
ہمیں سیدھا راستہ دکھا
Show us the straight path,
(al-Fatihah, 1 : 5)

اِیَّاکَ نَعۡبُدُ وَ اِیَّاکَ نَسۡتَعِیۡنُ ؕ﴿۴﴾
4. (اے اللہ!) ہم تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور ہم تجھ ہی سے مدد چاہتے ہیںo
4. (O Allah!) You alone do we worship and to You alone do we look for help.

اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ۙ﴿۱﴾
1. سب تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لئے ہیں جو تمام جہانوں کی پرورش فرمانے والا ہےo
1. All praise be to Allah alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds,
(al-Fatihah, 1 : 1)
