It is with extreme sadness that I say this, our beloved Sir Alexander is no more with us. He passed away a few days back, having just reverted to Islam less than a week ago. The Alexanders form a very integral part of Model Public School as both Sir Alexander and Miss Marium (Mary) helped a lot in getting the School to where it is and then their children too. The loss is huge for all of us. We pray that he be blessed with the highest of ranks in Jannah and the family given the strength to endure the loss.

Our student, Maryum Razzak, drew this picture of Balochistan Assembly while attending the session. As taking pictures is prohibited during session, we thought why not sketch the Session.

A group of 15 (12 students and 3 from Admin) from Model Public School went to visit Balochistan Assembly today. We attended the last day of the current session where issues relating to education, health, public parking, security and various other were discussed. The picture above has us standing with the current Speaker of Balochistan Assembly, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo.
MPA Hussan Bano Rakhshani, Ruqaiya Hashmi, Abdul Rehman Khetran and few others appreciated and welcomed us as guests in the assembly. The students had a great learning opportunity where they experienced a full session of the workings of the Assembly.
We would like to thank you Mr. Speaker and the staff for their hospitality and giving us the opportunity.

On 22nd September 2015, students of Model Public School (prefects) went to Hanna Jheel for a cleanliness drive. The children, along with the principal and few teachers, tried to clean Hanna Jheel as much as they could, filling around 10 sacks full with rubbish people had thrown. Later, we painted three rooms with different colours, Pakistani flag and messages, such as keep your city clean, so that it makes the place more beautiful and hide the useless things tourists had written on the walls. The event ended with students and staff singing the national anthem with our band team.

Pray for those who suffered today, they were all students like me and you. Pray for peace and forgiveness and the destruction of all evil forces. Pray for the parents and children and people who lost their loved ones today. Pray for a better future. We cannot even imagine the pain that those people suffered today.

Our school won 3rd position at the Pak-Japan Friendship Poster Competition, today.
At the ceremony, Mr. Farooq Bazai, VC BUITEMS, and the honororary Consul General of Japan for Quetta, Mr. Nadeem Shah, especially commended our school for its efforts in education sector.
