A three day seminar on Single National Curriculum 2020 review was held in Balochistan Boys Scout Headquarters Quetta. Inaugurated by worthy Minister for Education Mir Naseebullah Khan Marri. After the recitation of Holy Quran Director Bureau of Curriculum & Extension Centre Mr. Niamatullah Khan delivered his key note speech in which he elaborated the importance of contextualisation in SNC 2020. Secretary Secondary Education Department Mr. Rauf Baloch also addressed the esteemed gathering with his enlightened thoughts regarding the hurdles to be overlooked and eradicated. Worthy Minister for Education Mir. Naseebullah Khan Marri in his speech encouraged and supported the task undertaken by the Bureau of Curriculum & Extension Centre.

12 days internal capacity development program for faculty members of BOC&EC started on Monday at BOC auditorium. The capacity development include ,organizational development, curriculum development and educational research. The program was inaugurated by director bureau Niamatullah Khan. Speaking on the occassion he said that capacity development of bureau faculty members is need of hour as bureau is the back bone of our educational system and it lays the foundations of education. He while reffering to SDGs told that SDG 4 is related to quality education and bureau has to play important role in this regard. He stressed on need of development of educational standrads. He also told that the Balochistan education sector plan has also given heavy mandate in regard of quality education.
Dr Gulab Khilji and Dr Nazir Jogezai in their presentations briefed the audience on the process of curriculum development, foundations of curriculum and its review process and educational research.
