A Safe Space, A Brighter Future – For Girls of Balochistan

We are proud to present the Future Makers Social Impact Award 2026 to Salma Khan for her extraordinary work in running a girls’ hostel that ensures safety, dignity, and access to education for young women in Balochistan.

In a region where many girls are forced to choose between safety and schooling, Salma has built more than a hostel—she’s built a home of hope. By providing a secure environment, she’s removing barriers that keep girls out of classrooms and giving them the chance to learn, grow, and lead.

Her work is a reminder that when you protect a girl’s safety, you unlock her future.

Future Makers Conference honors Salma Khan
For turning courage into action and proving that education for girls starts with a safe place to call home.
