On 16th December 2025, the team from the Directorate of Colleges & Higher Education, Balochistan arrived at the University of Gujrat in the evening. All necessary arrangements, including accommodation and dinner, had been made by the university administration. The team was accommodated at the University Guest House.

On 17th December 2025, the team was formally received by the newly posted Registrar of the University. The team extended congratulations to the Registrar on assuming office and, on behalf of the Directorate, presented a bouquet of flowers and a commemorative shield. Thereafter, the Honorable Vice Chancellor invited the team to his office and accorded a warm and courteous reception.

During the meeting, matters relating to the welfare and academic progress of students from Balochistan were discussed in detail. The Honorable Vice Chancellor provided valuable guidance and shared constructive suggestions for the students’ representatives. He further directed the Registrar to ensure full cooperation.

On 16 December, the Directorate team visited the University of Sargodha at 11:00 a.m. Upon arrival, the team was warmly received by the student representatives. As the University was hosting its Research Arena, the majority of the faculty members were engaged in various academic and research activities.

After refreshments were served, a formal meeting was held with the staff of Facilitation center. During the meeting, both sides discussed several important matters, including issues faced by the students, their academic progress reports, and scholarship-related concerns. The University administration assured its full cooperation, particularly regarding the timely submission of students’ progress reports and related information.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Deputy Director Colleges Mr. Abdul Qayyum Barech, along with Mr. Naveed Akhtar, presented a shield on behalf of the Directorate of Colleges as a token of appreciation and gratitude.

Visit Report of the Technical Branch Team to Government College University, Faisalabad
Dated: 12 December 2025

On 12 December 2025, the Technical Branch Team of the Directorate proceeded from Lahore to Faisalabad at 08:00 AM for scheduled meetings with the worthy Vice Chancellor and Registrar of Government College University, Faisalabad.

Upon arrival, the delegation was cordially received at the office of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam. A bouquet of flowers was presented as a token of regard. Thereafter, the Deputy Director delivered a detailed briefing on the reservations and issues pertaining to the admission process of students from Balochistan. The matters highlighted included challenges in hostel accommodation, difficulties faced during bridging admissions, and concerns related to the university portal.

The Vice Chancellor appreciated the proactive measures undertaken by the Government of Balochistan and the Directorate of Colleges, Higher & Technical Education in monitoring the academic welfare of nominated students. He further assured that progress reports, character certificates, and information regarding scholarships and stipends would be furnished to the Directorate in a timely and periodic manner. The Vice Chancellor also shared certain reservations from the university’s end for consideration by the Government of Balochistan. The team assured that the same would be communicated to the competent authorities.

The delegation was subsequently hosted for lunch at the Zoology Department by Prof. Dr. Salma Sultana Admissions Committee Convenor, whose professionalism and hospitality were duly acknowledged. During the luncheon meeting, additional operational matters were discussed and constructive recommendations were exchanged for further streamlining of the nomination and monitoring processes.

The visit concluded with the team expressing sincere gratitude to the university administration for their cooperation, support, and continued commitment towards facilitating students of Balochistan.
