Garrison Degree College was established in March 2010 with aim of enhancing the educational facility at Quetta. It was inaugurated in April 2010.
It was inaugurated in April 2010 and the classes commenced on 5th August 2010.The college was upgraded to Degree level in October 2011 by introducing B.A and B.Sc degrees with affiliation of the University of Punjab.
