Prof. Dr. Miraj ul Islam Zia, Dean FIOS University of Peshawar graced the occasion of "Annual Bilingual Declamation Contest" as Chief Guest organized by PMDC (B) Dalazak Road Peshawar in City University of Science and Technology, Peshawar on 21 October where speakers from more than a dozen colleges spoke on various topics. Student of Fizaia college Shaheen camp Peshawar won English debate competition while student of Islamia college Peshawar won Urdu debate competition. Prof. Dr. Miraj ul Islam Zia distributed certificates among the participants, trophies among the winners and shields among the Judges. At the end in his speach he said this activity evoked the memories of his childhood. He underscored the importance of intra-curricular activities and focused on the improvement of public speaking skills. He emphasised that it is necessary for every student to make all-out efforts for their future as with all sort of challenges the future of the present generation is very bright. Director PMDC colleges, principlals and many academicians were also present.
