The Wazir Muhammad Institute of Paramedical Technology, a constitutent of Gandhara University Peshawar, was established in 2000. Initially, only diploma programs in both Laboratory and dental technology were offered. Sc (Hons) degree in Medical Laboratory Technology program. Gandhara University is the pioneer in introducing an honors degree in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa.
